Just because choosing a wedding photographer is a huge deal, doesn’t mean it needs to be stressful on you as a couple. Let’s jump right into the most asked questions we’ve received to help you feel confident you’re making an educated decision.

Booking FAQ

Questions couples have asked before they've booked with us.

The average couple books their photographer between 1 year or 6 months in advance. The furthest out I book is approximately one year.

Absolutely! I love traveling and I would be happy to serve you at your destination wedding. Reach out and we can talk about it!

Typical coverage time for a wedding day is between 8-10 hours depending on your needs as a couple. The average couple usually books 8-hours of coverage.

Unless you plan on having over 250 guests at your wedding, one lead photographer should be enough to cover your wedding day.

Yes! Absolutely. If you've already taken engagement portraits, you may opt for a bridal session in lieu of the engagement session.

To hold your date, we require a 50% retainer to be paid before you're considered "OFFICIALLY" booked.

We require the other 50% balance to be paid 2 months prior to your wedding day. 

Wedding Day FAQ

Questions couples have asked about working with us on their wedding day.

I arrive at least an hour before coverage begins specifically to scout out lighting and locations.

We recommend keeping your family formals list to 8-10 immediate family members only This is to be cautious of your wedding day timeline. Extended family can be taken at the reception.

Yes. We are shooting for 8 hours, sometimes in the blazing heat or freezing rain. We will eat when our couple eats to not conflict with major events during the evening.

Absolutely, I bring a backups for my backup on your wedding day.

I do. I have light stands and off/on camera flashes that I can use if the reception or ceremony is too dark. However, I LOVE using natural light whenever possible. 

There are SO many advantages to a First Look, you'll receive ~40% MORE romantic portraits with a first look vs if you didnt have one. Some couples opt for a "First Touch" where one spouse is blindfolded and some opt to do a first look with their parents or a special family member.

Questions couples have asked after they're married.

Wedding galleries are delivered approximately 8-10 weeks after your wedding day. But don't worry, you'll get plenty of sneak peeks before then!

Yes! 50 prints of 4x6 size are included in both of our collections. You may also purchase prints separately from your collection.

This varies based on your coverage time but on average you will receive a minimum of 75 images per hour on your wedding day. For an 8-hour wedding that equates to about 600 images per wedding. This is just a rough estimate, in most cases you could possibly receive more. 

Yes! We offer albums starting at $450 and up. 

Although I would love for you to order prints through me, all collections come with a personal print rights so you can print wherever you choose. Please keep in mind the print quality and color may not meet expectations at your local Walmart, Costco, or Target. 

Absolutely, your gallery will give you options to choose from web-size, high-resolution or the original size (these are HUGE!). Big enough for a 18 inch x 20  inch canvas!
