The Dallas Arboretum never fails to deliver on backdrops & scenery. I love how well kept they keep everything, its always so clean and picturesque. For Breandon & Jessica’s engagement photos, they decided to keep it cool and casual with the always appropriate black attire. I also had the privilege of meeting their beautiful little family! During engagement sessions, I tend to focus on the couple but since they brought their kids, I just HAD to add them to a few of their images! They’re a part of this journey too so I felt it only appropriate. Their smiles light up the entire garden and I was happy to oblige when they asked for a few snaps.
With 66 acres of gardens my favorite spots at the Arboretum are definitely the Women’s Garden, Sunken Garden and their rose garden. Lucky for us, the $5 entrance fee special was going on for the beginning of the year. The arboretum is perfect for the couple looking for a more lush and romantic engagement photos. Spring time overall is my absolute JAM!
Our couple met in 2011 and have been engaged since November 28, 2019. Their proposal story is so fitting for them, and Breandon did such an amazing job picking of her ring! Breandon waited until the kids were gone and asked Jessica to dance with him in the living room to one of her favorite songs right before he popped the question. Such a romantic! I loved getting to know our couple more over their session and I wanted to share some of my favorites from this day.
