This wedding at The Pearl at Sabine Creek was unique in the sense that, our couple decided to split their ceremony and reception to two different dates to be able to accommodate guests in September. Did I question it? Absolutely NOT! My job is to be as flexible as possible and be the ONE vendor our couples don’t need to worry about. Today I’ll be sharing some of the images from this day!
Not only did Kacie & Joel get to be married inside during a heat advisory, they completely and utterly made the BEST of a stressful situation that is COVID-19. They even LIVE-STREAMED it! My favorite part though? Our Groom and his Groomsmen walking out to the “Avengers” theme song with their custom face masks, socks and custom Avengers cufflinks. #Amazing. Our bride wore a classic satin strappy gown with satin buttons all the way down her train. Did I mention she had PICKETS!?! Yes, a wedding gown with POCKETS! When I think of Kacie, I think of the color YELLOW – bright, happy and full of life. Her styled bouquet was laced with sunflowers, mini daisies and burgundy garden roses. Absolutely fitting for her personality. I also loved that she had her brother play the guitar as she walked down the aisle with her dad to marry the love of her life. During their ceremony, Kacie and Joel poured a single glass of red wine from two pours to symbolize their unity.
Let’s face it, 2020 is a huge cluster. LIKE, HUUGE. All stacks were against our couple this year but they’re making it happen! I cannot begin to tell you how many plans have been delayed at hearts broken because weddings need to be either canceled or rescheduled because of COVID-19. I applaud all couples who have made it this far in their planning and still sticking to it. *CHEERS!*
